It’s absolutely wonderful to be young. We don’t have preconceived notions of how the world should be, we hardly inhibit ourselves in fear of being judged, and we want to experience all sorts of new and exciting adventures. It’s a blissful time of ones life, and that’s for sure. Which is why we’re able to see tons of videos online of young children pursuing some type of talent. They’re not camera-shy and they want to show off their skills to everyone.
And today, you will have the sheer pleasure of seeing a five-year-old boy, named Caleb Serrano, expressing his talent to the world. This young and vivacious boy was lucky enough to find himself on the TV show, Harry. What for? His excellent singing ability.
You see, Caleb is a major fan of gospel music and he has an immense passion in singing some spine-chilling gospel songs for the world. So, on May 1st, Caleb made his way on TV to sing the song, “This Little Light of Mine”. He began his solo by improvising a little, then persisted to sing the lyrics like a little angel with a full band of musicians behind him.
After his enchanting performance, he had a quick chat with the host, Harry Connick Jr. who asked him, “When you grow up, do you want to be a singer, or do you want to be something else?” Caleb answered proudly, “I want to be a star!”
Then he was asked how he would reach his desired status of fame and fortune, to which Caleb shrugged and said he didn’t know. And that’s when the host gives him a little hint which, too, is adorably lovely. Surely there is a very bright future waiting ahead for this little guy!
